https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NCL1LY3

The first edition of underground comic magazine: "Pot Comix #0", started off as a B&W satrical/fantasy (ashcan) mini-comic (or, 'zine'), in the mid 1990s, in the mythical city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This (now quarterly published anthology graphic novel series) started as a limited issue publication , showcasing the one-off South American adventure/thriller tale, from ( a first opening act, based on author/artist) Watt's feature-movie screenplay : "CODE NAME: KING", in a complete one-off tale (for now!), called 'The Capture'. As the protagonist; is a 'mediction' addicted former , Southern rock star/secret militia agent, with a secret code-name, called named "King" who faked his death, in 1977.
This highly regarded story was also released in full-colour paperback, as "CODE NAME: KING", still a one-off title [for now!].

As well, the same issue #0 introduced an funny-animal tale, about a sexy, furry, female 'anthropomorphic cosmic mercenary' named "Spacey La Skonke". This 2nd edition publication of the premiere comic-book also shows the influence and mood of the times , with: 1980s/90s action movie violence, Saturday Morning Cartoon humor, gritty Image Comics graphical influences , t.v tough-guy wisecracks and rock & roll spirited 'Teenage Mutant Turtle/Cerebus-styled mood, an epic toungue-in-cheek story-telling [with a charismatic teen-aged animal warrior protagonist]), as well as a sly wink to French Fantasy magazine : 'Metal Hurlant' & 1960s & 70s underground comix, as well as Harvey Kurtzman's satirical Mad Comics... The infamous Toronto-based TWI Studio's cult Canadian Filmmaker/Actor/Author/ Illustrator: Tex Watt's Spacy La Skonke's future adventures, will take the lead (or, 2nd lead) in the upcoming official Pot Comix #1's anthology series publication intro and further millennial issues. Not fot pot-heads only! One does not need to smoke pot, or get lit, to ENJOY the Pot Comix experience; but it helps!
-Tex
